So, the Icon of the Steam Process is shown as the icon of some Game named Super Sus i used to play a bit.
I tried clearing the cache and renewing the Icon cache.
It still doesnt show up correctly.
Does the normal Steam Icon looks okay? You could try it with switching to a different Icon Set and then back.
I am sure I am not the only person reading that finds this mix up amusing.
I would check the icons stored if clearing the caches did not help. Caching is not exclusive to just those two, however. Gnome can cache icons in other places and Steam also can. Steam is a CEF, which is why its appearance (for you) does not match your system theme.
In your ~/.local/share/icons/hicolor/-sizes-/apps/ directories, can you find any SuperSus icons that are labeled as Steam application icons?
Yep, there were a few Game icons labeled steam_icon and then some game ID, i deleted the Suspicious one and now it works xD.
ty : )
I spy on you, as a person who also played SubNautica...
Nice pick. Too bad the owning company went crazy.
I did not know that you've played Subnautica as well, its an awesome game! Subnautica Below Zero was fun as well, but it was technically an DLC expansion, that was made into a separate game.
Yep, I learned of this as well, when I was inquiring into progress, regarding the official Subnautica 2 game. Turns out that 2 different companies were involved on the project.
They signed a 500 million dollar contract. 1 company was supposed to get 250 million, and the OG Subnautica devs, were supposed to get the other 250 million. But the new company devs stiffed the OG Subnautica devs. So now, its become a legal battle. Its always about the money, nobody is in the business to work for free.
That is exactly what happened.
And many of us are so disgruntled, we no longer wish to patronize the franchise. Which is a shame, because I was very much looking forward to SubNautica 2 - and it is delayed now...
And I am highly unlikely to give them one single penny, as long as the Creators and Founders of the original remain in the splits.
Edit:
We is on tangent. I claim Solved Thread Rights!
