Skype have graphical bug in menus of top panel. It only shows up in snap version of skype.

Install the .deb file of skype? Avoid snap if you can.

Why not?
There's several reason. a) Apps running in snap/flat sandbox can't see outside its bobble. b) its slow when launch as it has to load several libs in its bobble c) It doesn't use your share libs on your computer which means its slow, uses more RAM to run d) doesn't respect your system theme (without some extra fiddle).
