Graphichal login issues

Hello everyone,
My name is Gallus and I'm new to this forum: this is my first post.
On my old HP laptop last summer I have installed Zorin Os 16 Pro. The version is now 16.3.
From some days I've been having problems logging in graphical mode: when I click on my user or when I have entered the password the display goes flickering showing only coloured horizontal lines. I have noticed that if I open a second virtual console and I log in textual mode the system works correctly.
After the login the system report me only an error:

AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'upgrade_broken'

I have verified too that, completely randomly, sometimes I can log in in graphical mode and normally use my computer.

I home someone can help me solve this problem.

Thank you very much
gallus

P.S. I paste here the output of some commands...

Did you have this issue on the previous 5.15.0-83 or 5.15.0-84 kernels?

The first thing I would try would be rolling back to a previous kernel.

Thank you very much for your reply @Aravisian.
How can I do that rolling back?

I have try to open sotfware installation program but I haven't find kernel, modules or specific function to do that.

Do you think I need to do it via shell using apt?
Which packages I should have to install? (modules, image, etc.)

Zorin is the only system installed on this laptop: should I install grub too to select kernel version o I simply completely revome the latest?

Regards
gallus

From boot, enter the grub menu and select Advanced Options for Zorin
From there, you can select Zorin on 5.15.0-83 to boot up from.

At the boot I have not any grub menu at all.

Grub Menu may not show if you are Single Booting Zorin OS (It only appears for Dual Boot) or if the grub file is set to "menu=hidden" (which it is by default).

Tapping esc or tab if using EFI boot vigorously should pull up the Grub menu.
If using Legacy (MBR) Boot, then hold left shift key down starting at boot, instead.

Perfect, done.

With 5.15.0-84-generic kernel there is not any problems so I have set this kernel as the default as explaind in this old post:

Do you know who is?

Thank you very much.
