The one thing Zorin OS can do to make it really polished is to sharpen the graphics.
What do you mean?
not sure how it work but some icons and stuff sharper on different os... win 10 sharper than 11. kde neon, sharp graphics
Maybe good to post a screenshot to illustrate.
probably something you notice or not with your own eyes. in hindsight, maybe its just subjective? bit like OSes - just read, over 600 linux distros!
Edit: After getting a new monitor, realized the problem was with the old monitor, not Zorin OS.

I have gone through the same kind of thing. I used TV's connected in the past, their too blurry, too far away to see small details, even in 4K! I especially had trouble seeing the tool icons in GIMP photo editor.
I have also used older 1080P monitors, & I felt they had a bit of a blurriness with text and small icons too. It wasn't till I upgraded to a Dell 32" 4K G3223Q monitor, with a 144hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, that I achieved crystal beauty. ![]()
Since I use my monitor from my couch, I mounted it to a stand on wheels, cable tied the power/display cables. Best monitor I've ever had, so much easier to see everything on screen, I'm very happy with it.
What monitor did you get?
Exactly! ![]()
it's a cheap kogan with inflated retail price at under half price
but it was the cheapest 32" around and had something needed to reinstall an os on an older optiplex before passing it on to an op shop. hdd drive just too slow loading, sdd is like instant.
the difference is astronomical even if it not top shelf - sharp and clear... Kogan 32" Full HD IPS 75Hz FreeSync Monitor (1920 × 1080)
got ai to find one with vga port and 3 hdmi ports. it found one with those specs, bought, checked specs uh oh! only 1 hdmi port.
told it to fix problem. bought a kvm half price (didn't know this stuff even existed
awesome! pcs and keyboard and mouse all run off of it. seamless switching - both auto and manual. came with all the cables, including 1 x usb- c dp. had to use a pixel charger to run it, though.
