I had some difficulties opening GtkHash file in my Linux Mint so i then tried opening GtkHash in Zorin OS to do the Shasum check for the downloaded XFCe file (using the Zorin OS). However though i could open the GtkHash file after installing it, and copy paste the shasum on the GtkHash (Check) space, i was unable to get the HASH to work. It was grey out and does not show any bar that it was checking the shasum. How can i remedy this?
Thank you in advance.
You can try it with that command in the terminal (right-click on the downloaded .iso file to copy it and then paste it for [file-name]:
sha256sum [file-name]
You could use the Terminal like @Forpli already explained or when You prefer a graphical Tool, there would be Collision:
It is available as Flatpak. I used it in the Past and it worked fine in my Experience.
