I recently installed Zorin 18 core.
Since all my PCs are behind a web proxy, I configured the proxy via the GUI. This worked for the web browser, but not for the package manager.
I checked, and no apt configuration file was created. Therefore, the proxy information was missing. So, I had to create the file with the necessary entry manually.
This looks like a bug to me.
