Because humanity gets worse and worse every year, my New Years resolution will be, to bury myself in so many video games, you'd think I had digitized myself into the ether. Yeah, kind of like what they did in the movie Tron lol.

There is no astronomical significance to Jan 1. The solstice is the important day because that's when our ancestors learned they weren't going to die.
