Wanted to wish all forum participants a really happy New Year.
Switching from Win11 to Zorin 17.3 was a highlight of 2025 for me and taught me a lot, with tutoring from @Aravisian @Ponce-De-Leon @Forpli @StarTreker and many others. Thanks to all of you.
Firstly, Happy new year to all!
as a relative newbie, I expected to have to muddle through with the help of groogle.
I have tried some distros earlier this year, Fedora, Ubuntu, Mint, Debian but had various problems.
A youtube video dropped on my feed a while regarding a distro I had not heard of. So I thought I'd give it a try. That was my first look at Zorin.
As I expected from prior experience, I had some issues. BUT this time I decided to see if I could actually use Linux properly. So I posted on the forum.
So, my new year best wishes go to @Ponce-De-Leon and @StarTreker especially for the hand-holding and advice and help.
Eventually, I WILL get this working for the two games I play and I hope to be a Zorin user for the foreseeable future.
