"Hardware Does Not Pass Checks" Notification

I installed Zorin Core 18 last year but didn't use it until yesterday. There was software to update and also updates & upgrades in the Terminal. I didn't notice any errors but I was not looking.

I am not a technical person, so I don't know if I have to do anything to fix the problems. Thank you to anyone who can give advice.

And what now is the Issue? I don't quite understand the Problem. Does the System not run?

Thank you. It said that the hardware had failed ? and was not secure or something. I will try to find out to replicate the message. But it said something like there was something wrong with the security.

Those checks aren't necessarily indicative of you needing to change anything on your system's end. Many times, what those checks want you to enable, we recommend that you disable (such as secure boot, among others) to make sure they don't create problems down the road.

OKAY, nothing to worry me then? I was worried! It's a scary warning! Thank you.

Many users get this message when secure boot is turned off.

I wouldn't worry about it, in my opinion. For example, if your system doesn't have a tpm chip (which given this: TPM v2.0: ! Fail (Not Found)) it doesn't, then it's never going to return a successful check. A lot of systems aren't going to have that, and that's a reason a lot of people may be looking to Linux as an alternative to windows 11 because that's one of the requirements it needs for installation.

OKAY, thank you very much, I will ignore it. I thought that thing was for Windows only. It is a strange warning to get in Linux if there is nothing to worry about. Whew!

This is an excellent example of Gnome Desktop emulating Microsoft Behaviors.
