Hi there, I've just installed Zorin OS 18 and it's fantastic! However, I'm not sure what this message means. I think it might be related to the TPM, but I'm not certain. The PC is an i5-4590T and it has a TPM 1.2 module, which I reset before installing the system. Thanks!
Please make sure you disable "Secure Boot" in the BIOS, this is likely the issue you are facing, as "Secure Boot" is only a feature for Windows.
Speaking of which, if you are dual booting with Windows, please make sure you also disable "Fast Startup" in Windows, as if its enabled, it will retain control of the hardware, making Linux unstable.
Hey, thanks for the support. I disabled Secure Boot, but now the Secure Boot box turns red as well.
This makes no sense because as the OP stated it then says the secure boot is needed to be activated
