Recently switched from Windows 11, and I am using the more traditional Gnome appearance with a dual monitor setup (Laptop screen as main screen, external monitor in portrait mode for things like discord or a browser window) and I was wondering if there was a way so that when I either press the super/windows key or press the app switching button in the top left corner that it only shows the apps on the currently used monitor.
To elaborate when I press the Super key, let's say to switch between a game on my main monitor and switch over to the settings app to change some audio settings on my main monitor, and I have a browser open with a youtube video on the second monitor, it will put the second monitor into the app switching mode as well, even though there is only one app open on that monitor that I don't need to switch, and I find the visual of it randomly shrink to a portion of the screen visually distracting.
When I had previously used Pop OS years ago I recall using a Gnome extension called Current Monitor Window/App Switcher which would make it would only open the app switching screen on whatever monitor my mouse cursor was currently on and leave the other untouched on whatever windows I had left it on. I did get it installed on my current Zorin OS setup via the Extensions app, but it doesn't seem to do anything no matter what settings I change. If there is another way of having the app switcher come up separately based on what monitor is currently in active use I would like to know, but if not it's just a minor annoyance and not a huge deal.
