Hello, just installed the latest zorin os pro on all my systems. Love the OS.
However i seem to be having some issues with theming on my desktop. Im not sure if this is a known issue or not.
Whats happening is I want to use the chrome OS like theme. I can click it click apply and it moves everything, the issue is that the icons dont center they are right by the start button similar to windows.
If i enable show bars on all displays the theme displays on my other two monitors just fine. On my laptop the theme is perfect.
If i use other themes like the gnome one or mac styled one they display just fine.
Could you include a screenshot of the issue? Just wanting to get a clear picture on what's going on here. I think I understand, but always helps. If you could also include an image of your other 2 monitors at the same time, that would be great as well.
Ok thanks for the photos. So first off, I would recommend doing the updates that it's asking you to do then reboot (unless you've already done that, I just see the icon open). Sometimes a reboot does wonders.
Also, are all of your monitors the same resolution / size? And how are they all connected? Reason I ask is that your second photo looks weird, unless you just took a screenshot too large and didn't crop it down to fit the singular screen.
Try logging in using X11 instead of Wayland and see if you have the same issue. It's the little gear icon on the login screen before you actually log in. Choose "Zorin Desktop" for X11.
Logging in with X11 fixed the display issues I was having with Zorin 17 Pro. Wayland is the default for Zorin 17.
Could You maybe say what Monitor it is what have these Issue? And what Resolution and Scaling Factor it has? And are you using a Nvidia Graphics Card? If yes, changing to Xorg would be a good Idea.
