How can i change the Zorin Appearence theme but only for a single app?

Hey guys! Hope you're all having a great day!

I've been needing help with a problem that i haven't been able to solve myself. In college I have to use this software called Scilab for some classes and, for some reason, whenever I use it with the dark theme in Zorin OS, I can't read the font used because the background where the text appears is black and the font is also black. If i change the theme to light theme, the problem is solved and I can read as it should be displayed.

Considering the situation, is there any way I can turn the Zorin OS light theme for only this single app without having to toggle it on or off all the time? Does it have to be done in the apps programming or can it be done via Zorin OS itself?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes, you can. Scilab uses the GTK2 theme, not the GTK3 theme.

I installed Scilab so that i can test theming. My own dark themes are not showing many issues, though I note that the Menubar font is black font along with the background also being dark.

Can you please say which Zorin Theme you are using?

The easiest Way I think would be to look in the Settings in this Program Scilab if you can adjust a Light or Dark Mode.
