How can I install Clapper so I can get better performance with Hanabi?

I've decided to come back to Hanabi as I noticed it has better system integration with Zorin OS than Hidamari but Hanabi performs poorly without being able to use clappersink from Clapper as mentioned in the README. There isn't an apt install for Clapper on Zorin OS 17.2 so is there a ppa I can add and install or do I have to build it from source? Here's the extensions I talked about and Clapper's github.

Hanabi
Hidamari
Clapper

It looks like Clapper is very new as far as applications go, with its initial first release happening this year.
The .deb is available, but only on the latest repos like Ubuntu 24.04

And... (because of course it does), it sets a higher dependency than Zorin OS offers, on a critical library.

You can build from source code:

Which if that works demonstrates the reality of how often I point out that maintainers set higher dependencies than actually necessary in their .deb depends list.

I managed to install clapper from a PPA as building it from source didn't seem to give me access to clappersink. Assuming I did something wrong but moving on I used this PPA.

The end result is I just stopped using both Hanabi and Hidamari. Even with clappersink I find the performance isn't good enough for Hanabi as I had it using 25% of my GPU on my big TV and with Hidamari while it has great performance it also has terrible system integration so any time I change my turn off my displays as I frequently switch between my desktop screens and my big TV Hidamari will either freeze or scale wrong resulting in you needing to reapply it.
