How can I install Zorin OS (Linux) on Windows, deleting only the local disc C (where Windows is installed in) and not other files?

If you prefer to have peace of mind, you can select the "Something Else" installation option, and ensure you select the Partition and Disk you want to install from.
Once you do this, Zorin OS will install to only that partition / disk and not elsewhere.
