I am trying to get the correct syntax for Nemo to open in its Home folder.
Nemo already works from my Desktop and my taskbar/panel.
If I make the command field just 'Nemo' it does not work. Even though 'Nemo' works from the Terminal.
I would appreciate receiving the correct format for both the command and the icon.
Try this command : nemo $HOME
and no capital letter for nemo in the command line
Thank you for the suggestion which partially works. (The file manager opens but '$home' is not recognised.) The correct syntax turns out to be just 'nemo' in lower case. Today, I learned that 'Nemo' and 'nemo' are not the same command.
Do you have a suggestion for the icon field?
Try to find an icon that is different from nautilus and just write the correct link of the file on your computer
