so guys how can i install the zorin os 18 without deleting my data of zorin os 17.3
. should i wait or upgrade now ?
If you are on Z17.3 Core and want to upgrade to Z18 Core, I would wait and use the zorin upgrader tool when it becomes available for Z18 use. Even then, DO BACKUP all your data first. The Backup (deja-dup) app will do that for you.
If you are impatient and desperate to update to Z18 Core, then you could install Z18 Core using the Something Else (manual) method. You can then choose NOT to format your /home partition containing data during that process. But again. DO BACKUP your data first.

The method zabadabadoo mentioned only works when you have a separate partition for /home.

You can't upgrade now because it is not available yet. You could only make a fresh Install with Zorin 18.
