How do i disable rgb on openrgb?

It's literally night time and I am literally stressing out because I can't even sleep with PC RUNNING rgb ON! I'VE TRIED USING OPENRGB BUT THAT SOFTWARE DONT WORK BECAUSE IT WONT DETECT ALL DEVICES AND WONT TURN IT OFF IT JUST TURN BACK ON MINUTE LATER. IM SOOOO STRESSED PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME. I FEEL LIKE IM DYING MAN.

Can you delete any profiles you have, then reinstall Open RGB.
Launch it - *But do not scan Devices - instead, try click the black square under the Color picker on the right side - for the Basic Generic controls to operate the RGB lighting and see if that works.

If It Does Not:
System hardening may be restricting OpenRGB's access.
Can you run the following:
sudo wget -O /etc/udev/rules.d/60-openrgb.rules \ https://pkg.openrgb.org/debian/60-openrgb.rules

Now that you have the OpenRGB rules, apply them:

sudo udevadm control --reload-rules

sudo udevadm trigger

Test OpenRGB

The last option is to disable the lighting using your BIOS settings... But I suspect that if you were ok with rebooting, you would have turned the computer off.
BUT, many BIOS Settings include RGB lighting controls.

Do You can't disable the RGB on Your Hardware itself? Can You tell us what Hardware You have where the RGB is on?

Thanks!

Aravisian gave you some good options to getting OPENRGB to work for you. My personal experience with OPENRGB is hit or miss however. Lets hope the APP recognizes your hardware and utilizes it.

One of the many reasons why I love Keychron keyboards, is because I can turn my keyboard lighting on/off, just using a couple keys on the keyboard itself. (No software needed!)
