How do I do desktop entries?

Hello,

When I used Linux Mint, I could right click the desktop to create a .desktop entry with whatever command I wanted. However, I do not see that functionality inside ZorinOS 18 GNOME. What is the recommended way to do that within ZorinOS 18?

You can create launchers (which create a .desktop file) when you right-click on the Zorin start menu icon and then select "edit menu". Then click on "new entry" to create a launcher with any name and command you like. It is important to also select an icon (click on the folder on the left side to choose a file for the icon).
After the launcher is created you can add it to the desktop.
