How do I find Host name and IP address for my Canon mf232w printer? I have tried everything and nothing works. The terminal is useless because none of the instructions work. How do I do this without using the terminal. I have been using Zorin 17.3 for some time now without problems, now all of a sudden my printer won't print on paper but will print to a PDF. I need this info to register my printer because I can't even add a printer. A little help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

So, this happened from one Moment to another? Did You received any Updates before that? Maybe some CUPS-related? (CUPS is Printer Management Software)

And before this, the Printer worked without Issues on the System, yes?

Assuming this printer is on your local network, you can login to the router and look for the list of connected devices. that should show the printer and its IP addr.

We seem to be seeing multiple issues recently of printers ceasing to work.
Restoring CUPS often resolves it - so there may be some package conflict.
