Hi @gill, welcome to the forum!
You can create a Wi-Fi hotspot from your computer by following these steps:
Thanks @Azotin for replying, the problem is that I don’t have that option to turn on wifi-hotspot,I think it’s a hardware issue.
yes, I got the same too. I can’t make or turn on that feature
@gill - you have a typo (@AZotin instead of @AZorin)
@gill and @hafidirawans - could you please provide a screenshot of what options do show up for you on the Wi-Fi page when you click that button (column of dots as shown in AZorin’s pic).
Can you type xfce4-settings
in your terminal (ctrl+alt+t) and let me know what shows up?
Can you click the “All Settings” button I saw in the first pic you posted and see if there are any Wi-fi settings? If you can’t find any then hopefully someone with Lite can help. I am using Core.
PS - @jgordon or @zabadabadoo - do either of you use Lite?
i can’t click that button. I’ll waiting for answers from lite users. Thank you so much for answer my question.
I’m installing lite on an old PC and I’ll respond later.
Press the start button, settings, network connections.
Press the +, bottom left hand corner.
Choose connection type, select Wi-Fi and press create.
In Mode you can choose hotspot.
This documentation is for Mint but it uses XFCE like Zorin Lite does.
oh my god. it shows hotspot on that settings. Thank you so much
