How to add desktop shortcuts to websites in Firefox

Hi I want to add a desktop shortcuts in desktop, Iam using Zorin OS 17.1 Pro. I heard just Highlight the address and drag it to desktop but did not work for me. is any other method?

For regular bookmarks I'd recommend creating a plain text file like so:

You mean like having a desktop icon that launches a specific URL? I prefer doing it the way that ZorinOS itself creates their "Send Feedback" shortcut, and create a custom .desktop file. Hi, why don't you use Gnome-pie (you can create a pie called web's favorites and use the middle click on your mouse to open the pie !) ? You can only use it in Xorg session !
