Hi guys I need so help to customize

I have in my PC Zorin OS Lite 16.1.
I need to add transparency to the Taskbar (Similar to windows 7)

But my questions are
Is this possible?
If it is
How can I add transparency to the Taskbar?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is what you mean but:

  1. Right-click on the taskbar -> Panel -> Panel Preferences.
  2. Appearance tab.
  3. Change the opacity of the Enter and Leave states.

Enter means the opacity while the mouse is hovering over the taskbar, I recommend leaving this setting at 100. Leave is the opposite which you can change to whatever value you want.

Another option that you may be interested in is in the Display tab called "Automatically hide the panel". This will move down the taskbar whenever you have a window open on fullscreen or you drag it over where the taskbar usually is.

@zenzen provided a good solid answer that is easy to do, but there are many ways to do it. Choosing another method may depend on how you want to customize it to get it exactly right.
You can use a custom gtk.css file to set opacity and color to anything you want.
