How to CANCEL an xkill/force quit skull mouse cursor?

Hi. I just want to know, if I accidentally activate the xkill cursor (i.e. where the mouse cursor turns into skull and bones), how can I cancel it? I.e. make the skull and bones go away WITHOUT force quitting any app?

I want the option to xkill an app, but I also wanna cancel it in case I press it by accident or pressed it without really thinking. I don't wanna be forced to force quit an app.

Right Click the window instead of Left Click will cancel the Kill command.
