I have been looking at getting an avatar "logo" for free. I don't know where to go. I found some maybe, but then the website wanted me to sign-in. I don't know. I wanted to change my username logo when I got a trust level promotion. That has been done. Any help would be nice. I know where to change in my forum account. Just not where to get one.
click the 3 lines at top right by your current avatar then my posts then preferences you will see where you can save a new avatar click on the pen there to change it
Yes, I know all about that. Just I don't know where to find one for free online. For a custom logo upload.
ah well i just used a small pic i found most likely any pic you want might be able to be used. i have several pics i use see swapped to this one best to find something with pic more centered does need to be under 1 MB in size most jpgs wont work unless you convert to .png

I just used an Accessibility icon when I was running Zorin 15 from within the icon set, which is my current 'avatar'.
Found a variety of some free Wolf Avatars here:
Just search for "public domain clip art" and choose. No copyrights and free. Some websites are dedicated to these.
Since this is your avatar, there is no harm in you describing the image you have in mind, too. This can help.
Maybe one of us can even make the image you have in mind.

Now how did @swarfendor437 know I wanted a "Wolf"? @Aravisian that is a nice offer. To have one of you make one. I installed GIMP. Have no idea how to use the thing. I found some last night but wasn't what I was looking for. Did make sense for .png file. Instead of .jpg. That is all I saw in avatar files. I was thinking of a nice looking wolf "not mean looking" with a moon. I don't know if I want a wolf howling at the moon. But because wolves howl to let other wolves know where they are. It wouldn't matter. I read a lot about wolves when I was a kid. know a few things about wolves. I have been planning to do this, when I got promoted to a "Member" Level. Happened last night. Made me proud a little.

Considering that my own avatar is a wolf, I cannot judge. 
Your idea of a moon matches the forum default that uses round avatars.

Thank you, have been looking. I have been using duckduckgo. Then change to Brave search. That helped. Suggested by @swarfendor437. @Aravisian at least our logos are different looking. People should know the difference.
