How to change from icon to list view for default

Newbie here, switching from Mac where I am used to listview from fille manager but I can't find where to change it from icons in Zorin.

On the upper right side of the Nautilus (Files) titlebar, you should see a hamburger icon and a List-View icon. Clicking the List View Icon (Looks like three vertical dots) should switch the view state.
