How to Download TV Shows (Legally) from Netflix

I'm planning to travel soon and would love to have some of my favorite shows available without needing Wi-Fi. There is no official download option for laptops. What’s the correct way to download them through Netflix? Are there any limits I should know about, like how long downloads stay available? Can I use third-party tools, like StreamUlt to download them on my laptop?

If you have a smartphone you can download to that and screencast to your Notebook? From memory the downloads last a week, possibly 2 at most. Download only possible when connected to wifi.

Yes, you cann download Netflix Shows and movies to offline watching on iPhone, iPad and Android phone via Netflix app, but if you want to download Netflix contents on Windows/Mac, you need to use a third-party tool, such as iMovieTool, 4kFinder Netflix Downloader, etc, it does exactly what you're looking for. It will make drm free mp4 files (or mkv if you preferred) from streaming services you are subscribed too. I've used it on Netflix, disney+, hbo max (max now), Amazon, and paramount +.
Of course like others said download the TV show itself is easier, but I too have had a need to get hard to find shows sometimes.

Hi,

If you can use Netflix legally on an Android phone, you can use an Android emulator on your laptop and watch from Netflix there.

There are many powerful Android emulators for different operating systems out there.

If you're on Zorin OS, you can use Waydroid which is a nice and stable Android emulator. I used it before for a long time and it served me quite well.

Also be aware that third party tools that might download from Netflix for you, even via a valid subscription, could still be illegal and many platforms suspend the account (seen alike platforms doing this, not sure about Netflix), and it's always a better idea to ask Netflix for their terms on this.

Thanks for the explanation. Have you used StreamUlt as well?

@moderators I think some posts in this thread are bordering on illegal. i've already stated the legal way to do this, anything else would be a breach of a streaming service Terms and conditions.

After reviewing the posts, I agree.
Several Third-Party applications are listed - which illegally violate the terms and conditions.

We can all understand feeling frustrated that SAAS can be limiting. In the world that we live in, we have the choice to patronize or not patronize a business based on whether we are willing to spend on a product or on our principles.

What we do not get to do, however, is take what we want merely because we feel we should not have to pay for the product.
