How to Enable Hibernation in Zorin OS 16 Core Beta

I wanted to get the 'Continue from where you left off' benefit of Suspend Feature and 'Power Saving' Feature of Shut Down. This is the only reason why I need Hibernation. I have read some topics in which enabling Hibernation is a very complicated process. Is there any simpler way to do the same. My laptop is Lenovo ideapad 330 15-IKB with i3-7020U, Intel Graphics 620 and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 1 TB HDD.

This guide from here shows a generally straight-forward approach:

Adding swap partition:

You can check if a swap partition exists already using Gparted.
While the guides above look very complicated, that is mostly just because they are wordy in explaining each step along the way.

I will definetely try it. Thank you so much

I have 4GB of RAM, so according to you, what should the swap size be

Usually, the Swap is half the amount of RAM that you have to the same amount of RAM that you have. So, you could make it 2 gigs or 4 gigs.

Sure, Thank you for helping me out :+1:t2:
