i searched the forum for answers but couldnt find one. how can i set up zorin so that i gives me a warning before deleting a file? im at a point where i run multiple external backup drives, because its just to easy to mess up or delete files on accident on linux. part of it is due to using windows for 30 years the other part is that its just way to easy to delete files on accident. yes they go into the trash and can be recovered, but if you dont see that your files went there than you find yourself working on the last itteration of whatever you do or deleting your file without even knowing it while emptying your trash without looking at every single file it contains. now is there a way that works to get a "do you want to delete that file" window without installing an entire new file system? because i rather change distro then swapping the entire file system.
The option was remove, I suggest installing nemo, you will have this option.
sudo apt install nemo
