How to get more fps in CSGO?

Let me explain in detail.
I was in windows and used to get like 70fps average but when I switched to Zorin the performance dropped to 25 fps average. I tried to install and reinstall but the problem still exist.
My laptop specification is --- i3 10th gen, 12gb ram and 256gb ssd.
Can anyone please help me getting the similar perfomace like windows?

You forgot to mention which video card and driver

sudo apt install inxi
inxi -G

Here you go sir:
Graphics:
Device-1: Intel UHD Graphics driver: i915 v: kernel
Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.13 driver: i915 resolution: 1920x1080~60Hz
OpenGL: renderer: Mesa Intel UHD Graphics (CML GT2) v: 4.6 Mesa 21.2.6

uh, integrated intel card... well the maintainer the driver for ubuntu 20.04 which Zorin OS is based off has discontinues its support, so we can't upgrade the driver, but let see if we can boost the performance with the current driver.
Try with this gameboost app.
In the terminal

sudo apt install gnome-shell-extension-gamemode

Open Steam and go to CSGO properties. In the commandbox add:

 gamemoderun %command%

Now test

EDIT: You may also add gamemoderun to steam launcher as well. You can use Zorins Menu editor for that.

It worked. It still does not give me 70fps average but around 45 fps, which is not bad though, for some casual playing it's enough. But it worked. I think my laptop is getting older, I am using an outdated processor. But thanks for the help, I love Zorin OS, except the game part, everything is faster than windows.
