How to get Zorin OS detect your internal optical drive

I posted the same issue in Hardware Support. Hopefully somebody can help me. I used Google and Youtube searches in trying to get Zorin OS 16 Core detect my internal optical drive with no luck. I can play a DVD movie with this drive using VLC Player with no issue. Please Advise. Thank you very much.

Dear Michel and Carmar: Thanks for your response. I'll wait for other responses. My primary issue is to access my files in my internal optical drive like in Windows. I like to get out of Windows peranently. I'll post my Issue in General since its not a hardware issue. Have a good day everybody and Merry Christmas!

Agreed. @nlow004 - it is easier for people to help you if they can readily see the history of what has already been tried rather than having to click another link.
