I'm a new Zorin user I don't know to install & applications/ software in Linux & run them like we install run setup.exe but no idea for the Linux
I wanted to install CPU manager, however, I got this link:
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/945/cpu-power-manager/
I'd appreciate it if anybody tells me the whole process to install Cpu manager in Zorin OS?
sudo apt install -y indicator-cpufreq
Different extension, same idea and easier to install. Combine with tlp for a great battery experience. I was getting barely 2.5 hours, am up to beyond 4 hours (also reduced my refresh rate and changed to integrated graphics on battery).
Or follow CPUPower – Gnome Extension to Set CPU Frequency Scaling
