How to install Deepin Desktop Environment (DDE) on Zorin OS 18?

Hi everyone,
I am a long-time Zorin user. I am currently using Zorin OS 18 and I want to try the Deepin Desktop Environment (DDE) on it.

Can someone provide the correct PPA and commands to install it safely without breaking the system?

Thanks!

Thanks for the link! But since Zorin OS 18 is based on a newer Ubuntu base, will this old PPA work perfectly? I don't want to break my system icons or taskbar. Has anyone tried this specifically on Zorin 18 yet?"

The ppa is not old. It is suitable with noble.

It is often a bit risky to add foreign ppas and can lead to problems. Desktops which are offered as .deb packages from ubuntu repository are more safe to use than ppas from other distributions. But that is a ppa from ubuntu, so it is tested and should not lead to problems, I think.
Please backup your system before and safe your datas.
You won't see your Zorin taskbar when you are logged in into Deepin. It is not a gnome desktop. You can switch at login screen between the desktops.

Here’s a tip: before installing a package for tests, make a Timeshift backup first. If there are any issues, just restore it, and you’ll be back up and running in a few minutes
