I wouldn't be suprised, this seems very vendor-specific. It's like how some manufacturers include cool hardware buttons or touchbars and other software that they only support for Windows.
From all the suggestions I think I have to limit my battery from 30 to 70% max. So can you tell me. How I can do it in Zorin OS?
Some vendors provide that option in bios, check there first.
If not you can install TLP and do it.TLP also comes with a GUI tool if you don't want to edit the config file:)
Have you installed TLP?
sudo apt install tlp
i already install it how can i set limit.
TLP does not operate with an interface with which to set settings. Instead, it operates automatically.
sir I want that i use my laptop with charger all the time but the chharge/battery% does not goes above 70%.
This looks like you need to calibrate the battery, not limit it.
how can i do it. my laptop have inbuilt battery.
Do not believe this is possible.
TLP is meant to optimize battery longevity but there is no way to limit the battery charge I do not think.
