I'm new in Zorin. So I was using windows and I love customisation. I have used Rainmeter in windows so can someone help me regarding this. I need an application just like Rainmeter for Linux 
Plank is a good alternative for the dock.
For Head Up Displays, I use Conky.
Here is an example screenshot:
Rainmeter is more advanced and is all bundled together.
Conky can require a lot more user-involved configuration.
It can be a lot of fun, taking control and designing your own widgets. It can also be frustrating, too.
