How to set up default app for specific file types?
Aside from using the Default Selections in Settings, you can Right Click a certain mimetype and then choose "Open With..."
Click the button for "Set as Default" after selecting your preferred application.
In Core on Nautilus... it is slightly different than the other file managers...
Right click and select Properties, then select "Open With" and Set as Default from there.
