trying to setup up zorin 18 to send faxes. I'm a widows guy, linux is new to me, trying to use HylaFAX but can't seem to get it to install and run.
hmm...isnt that for a server enviroment?

Having done a search, desktop users need to use efax with 'efax-gtk' - unfortunately the gui 'efax-gtk' is not present. 'efax' is only available via Synaptic Package Manager and even then not sure how you would configure it.
I am using PCLOS Debian Plasma as my daily driver and using Synaptic Package Manger in this distro gives both 'efax' and the frontend, 'efax-gtk'.
@AZorin could it be possible to add efax-gtk?
efax-gtk is available on Zorin 18 when You look in Gnome Software:
Interestingling when I search it over the Terminal it doesn't find it. It finds only efax.

my printer is a printer/fax i just plug in a land line and follow manual on how to fax...if i need something on computer i print it then insert paper into slot then start fax as per manual
of course most folks dont have a landline ...so that may just work
