I cannot find a way to take screen shots. I downloaded Photoscape App which has a screen shot function in it but that App won't even initiate with double click. Thanks.
Just hit the printscreen button. That should create a screenshot for you.
Just hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard.
(Or open the GNOME Menu Control Panel and Click the Camera.)
Beat me while I was taking screenshots
If you want a screenshot app that has a delay and can capture the mouse pointer on menu selection being shown the best ones are shutter and Spectacle.
I agree with others, you can simply hit the print screen button on your keyboard, and it will take a screenshot for you, which is the most basic of functionality.
If you would prefer to have more control of your screenshots, I can recommend the Gnome Screenshot app, which is found in the software store...
Nice theme/desktop!
My keyboard did not have a print screen button on it but I have since changed keyboards and Prnt Screen works fine. Thanks
Another tool to look at if you're interested,is ksnip.
It also have delayed screenshot if u want ,and after screenshot one can annotate or edit ect before saving it. And you can choose to capture hole screen or all screens or only part of the screen.
Oh ,and I made a keyboard shortcut to open ksnip with "print screen" key.
My laptop's keyboard also doesn't have a Print Screen key, so I've been hitting the Super (Windows) key and typing Screenshot to open the app manually. I should add a keyboard shortcut to it, but I've been lazy.
