How to Uninstall deb software and files from Synaptic? If I want to uninstall Opera then what do?

Opera doesn't seem to be in the Zorin or Ubuntu repositories, though it's in the Zorin software store as a flatpak. If you're sure you installed the .deb version (which is possible; Opera's website has a .deb), scroll down until you see a package called "opera-stable. It should have a green box next to it to indicate it's installed:

Click that green box and choose "mark for removal" or "mark for complete removal" and then click Apply up near the top left. A box will appear asking you to confirm changes. Click apply again. Synaptic will do its thing, and Opera will be removed.

In Synaptic, you can use Search as well to swiftly locate Opera.

Also, if you downloaded a .deb package and you still have it, you can use it to uninstall Opera.
THis, again, is why I prefer Gdebi for managing .deb packages.
I have a folder in my ~/Downloads named installs in which I place any downloaded .deb packages that I install. When I want to remove an installation, I go to that directory, double click the .deb package and select uninstall.
I can then delete that superfluous package to clean it out of the folder.
