I typically have to unplug and replug the printer power to make it process the jobs in the queue. If I don't sometimes it does it itself after about 20 minutes but mostly not. There doesn't seem to be a way of manually turning it on (no on off switch).
I set the auto off parameter to never but the power save mode (sleep) cannot be set longer than 15 minutes.
It always works just fine in windows and I managed to get it set up in Zorin with the hplip app etc including downloading the most current version.
