HP Pavilion 15 Touchscreen Not Working

Hi everyone. Just installed Zorin OS on my HP Pavilion Laptop 15. The touchscreen was working on Windows 11 before I installed this and it works in the BIOS/UEFI, but not in Zorin OS. I've already tried many of the fixes recommended before (launching with Xorg, editing conf files, etc.). I'm going crazy. Any recommendations are welcome.

Have you installed xserver-xorg-input-evdev and calibrating it with;

xinput-calibrator

Note, you need to be in xorg to do this.

Hello! Thanks for your reply. I switched to xorg and tried this, I got returned "Error: No calibratable devices found."

Did you installed xserver-xorg-input-evdev as well?

sudo apt install xserver-xorg-input-evdev

Yes, I've installed it and it still returns the same error message.

How new is this model by the way?

It's from 2022 I believe.

Then the driver should be available with the current kernel. I'm no expert on touchscreen (I never had one :slight_smile: ), but you could try upgrading the kernel and see if the driver is included.

I appreciate your help! But unfortunately it still isn't working after updating the Linux kernel.

Lets see if it is reconized at all
