I can no longer find the "screenshot" folder

Merci d'avance. Claude

Hello everyone, this is my first time using a discussion forum. My apologies if I'm not doing this correctly.

During my gaming sessions, I take screenshots using the "Print Screen" key on my keyboard.

Just recently, I managed to find my screenshot folder. But today, that folder is gone.

The folder's path was: /run/user/1000/doc/d9fb8b98/screeshots

However, this path now ends at "d9fb8b98". The "screenshot" folder is no longer there.

The game is SnowRunner on the Steam platform.

My OS is Zorin 18.

I made a change on my PC. I moved my Zorin OS NVMe drive from the PCIe-2 slot to the PCIe-1 slot. Could that have caused the problem?

Thanks in advance. Claude

Hello,

This sound like a conflict between Steam and the DE. The default key of taking screenshot in Steam is F12, but if you set to "Print Screen" key it may conflict with the system and save probably elsewhere.
From the path you have given seems that you are using Flatpak version of Steam, you may consider using the .deb, as flatpak can give problems including screenshot path.

When(if you re-install Steam as a .deb go to Steams settings.

And set up and easy path for your screenshots.

Maybe check Your Pictures folder. There should be a Screenshots Folder. But this is normally only for Screenshots with the built-in Screenshot Tool of the System. But You could check it.
