Ah, okay. Sorry. Normally it should work; I do that on every Install. First set up the Display Settings in the Settings (Resolution, Scaling etc.) and then use the Command:
sudo cp ~/.config/monitors.xml /var/lib/gdm3/.config/
I did all this without a fuss.
When GDM stopped working, I downloaded the package zorin-desktop-themes and copied the ZorinBlue-Dark folder to the path /usr/share/themes. GDM then started working again, but with the noticeable issue of the large buttons on the login screen.
Today, I had an ISO file for Zorin OS 17.1. I extracted its contents, copied the ZorinBlue-Dark folder from the filesystem.squashfs file, and moved it to the aforementioned path, replacing the folder I had downloaded from the zorin-desktop-themes package. The problem was solved.
