I also got this error message :
For the translation, it's saying there is an error with the wps office package, and it's usually cause because the package need some dependancies that I don't have on my computer.
When I clicked on the first button to check for some updates, the error message vanished without any more pop up or windows appearing
Using Brave A.I. search engine via Mojeek search engine gives (note I used Ubuntu 22.04 in search criteria as that is what Zorin is based on):
Recover WPS Office Install Ubuntu
If the installation of WPS Office on Ubuntu 22.04 was interrupted or failed (baulked), you can resolve the issue by first removing the incomplete installation and then reinstalling the software. The process depends on how the installation was attempted.
If the installation was done using a .deb package, the incomplete state can often be fixed by running the following commands in the terminal:
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt install -f
The first command attempts to configure any unconfigured packages, and the second command fixes any broken dependencies that might have resulted from the failed installation. If the .deb file is still present, you can then reinstall it using:
sudo dpkg -i /path/to/wps-office_*.deb
Replace /path/to/wps-office_*.deb with the actual file path of the downloaded .deb package.
To completely remove any remnants of a previous installation attempt, regardless of the method used, you can run the appropriate uninstall command. For a .deb installation:
sudo apt remove --purge wps-office -y
zenzen

Check if there's a cache entry for it:
sudo find /var/lib/apt/lists -iname "*wps*"
Try also with *kingsoft* just to make sure there aren't additional folders.
If there are any entries, delete them:
sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/whatever_the_name_is
Refresh the cache and try again:
sudo apt update

So as you can see, the commands sudo dpkg -i /home/nath/Téléchargements/wps-office_11.1.0.11723.XA_amd64.deb and sudo apt remove --purge wps-office -y worked, and now I don't have any problem with my update manager, sofware and update manager, and even apt commands ! Thanks you very much team, love you all

Either your (or Swarfendor's) post can now be marked as Solution. Yes?

Instead of APT 3, You could install nala. This is a graphical Front End for APT, which offers an even better Layout in my Opinion. On Zorin 17, it is in the Sources. So, you can install it with sudo apt install nala
Use it is pretty simple. On an APT Command, You replace apt with nala. Some Examples:
sudo nala install
sudo nala purge
nala list
sudo nala upgrade
To say that clear: nala isn't a different Package Manager. It makes only APT look different.

You can now try Free Office. I was lucky to get the Pro version just before lockdown which meant I could submit modified documents to work which looked correct on colleagues machines running MS Office 2019/365, and without the need for Windows!

Great ! I'm going to give it a try
Locklear93:
@Aravisian , while I wouldn't necessarily expect APT 3 to fix NDC's problem, especially since it's already in effect, do you know if APT 3 can be installed on Zorin, or if this would result in many-colored and terrifying explosions? <_<
It would result in "this would result in many-colored and terrifying explosions...", sadly.
APT 3 is a core system component and it has far reaching dependencies.
While APT 3 is frankly, beautiful, I suspect Zorin OS 18 will not have it either.
It was just released recently and it would take a bit of configuration on Zorins base to get it.
I'm interested and will give it a look! That said, I'm less concerned about APT3's cosmetic and usability improvements and more interested in the fact that it has apparently revamped its dependency system to do a much better job than previous versions.
Yep. I'm well aware that it's very new and didn't expect Zorin 18 to have it either, though it'd be pretty great if it did. What wasn't clear to me was how easily it could be added. The kernel is, I would say, the most core of components, but is very easily replaced, after all--at least with versions prepared for Ubuntu or Debian derivatives.

Your logic is sound. But the kernel operates differently than say, glibC.
It is intended to be easily replaceable.
These other components are intended to robustly provide the skeletal frame of the operating system.

I installed nala a few days ago and I really like it. It is much clearer than apt and shows the output with colors. Thank you for the tip!
