I cant install Zorin 17 om my Asus

Hi everyone!

I am very new to linux and not the best with computers! Ignore my wonderful english!

I have two asus computers and on the first everything work fine but on my wifes it went very wrong so please help me! I want to live!

The computer is ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED UX8402ZE and it is Zorin 17 pro that i trided to install

Same problem occurs when i select normal instalation or the option for nvidia driver, no difrence.

During the instalation a message aperd that the installation went terribly wrong! Please se the picture for the text.

After the installation when i tired to start the computer this text uppers:

GNU GRUB version 2.06

Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB Lists possible command completions. Anyuhere else TAB lists possible device or file completions.

Can you please translate the error message? Does not need to be perfect...

Did You tried the new Zorin 18 Version? If yes: was there the same Issue?

As OP has not replied. I have tried to do that screenshot by online translation for you:

Couldn't install Grub on "...."
Failed to run "...."
This is a serious error

Yes the core version Zorin 18 i have tried, but it is the same problem as i described in the beginning when i tried to install the pro version of zorin 17

Is Your Driver where you want install Zorin encrypted? Are Secure boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled? Is Your BIOS in UEFI or Legacy Mode?

Sorry for not understanding all that you have asked! First thank you for helping me!

I suceded to install Zorin but i hade to by 18 pro, what happend i some how i came to the test environment GUI and found som sort of start boot repair or to make changes. I use the sophisticated method of a 5 year old and checkt every box and tried to do some sort of repair,

It replied that it can to anything that it is not the real version or something like that but i tried a few times!

When i restarted suddenly Zorin started to work with som error masages but i updated it and now my wife is using the computer and everything is prefekt!

Sorry for not being able to make any sense of it but som hove it started to work!
