i want to add some directorys on the left colune

Look under Preferences -> allow expanding or something like that (I’m on lite and I don’t remember exactly what nautilus showed). That may allow the folders to show in the left pane.
Changed from Tutorial to General.
Snap! I did at same time, as well as correcting title typo's. Nothing seems broken as result of dual event.
Now that I know, if something breaks I’m blaming you.
