Welcome to the Forum! Does this happen when You choose a Driver from the ''Additional Drivers'' Tab in Software & Updates?

When i go to additional driver settings it doesn't gave me any option to update or install nvidia drivers..after that i watch a youtube tutorial and download nvidia driver from.its official site and run it as program it show dpkg error, dkms error, kernel error,i can not use my system due to display issue it auto set in 4:3 and it is very challenging to use it after update i can not change my screen resolution. i have to do many imp work..if it not work than i have to switch to windows and i don't want to switch to window.please help me guyss:pleading_face::pleading_face:.

The release date on that card was in 2010. I am not sure how old your particular card is, but Nvidia notoriously drops support on older cards with greater speed than GnuLinux does.
Likely, the highest version that will work on that card is the 340.

Give some tips by that i can change resolution of my pc and make it usable again.is their any alternative method present to make it usable again.please

Theoretically You could install a lower Kernel and then the 340 Driver that @Aravisian named.

Actually i don't know how to install power kernel! Can i use any other driver instead of nvidia?

Well there would be the Nouveau Drivers. You can find them on the last Position an the Additional Drivers Tab. Could You maybe make a Screenshot of the Drivers Tab?

If You want to try it with a lower Kernel, here is someone who had an similar Issue and installed the 5.15 Kernel:
