I have messed up my apt/sources.list what can i do to correct it now

I am currently on zorin os 16.3 and I mistakenly messed up my /etc/apt/sources.list to upgrade to zorin os 17 and my code is not updating now showing error
Failed to fetch http://packages.microsoft.com/repos/code/dists/stable/InRelease 403 Forbidden [IP: 2620:1ec:bdf::58 80]
what can i do to correct it now

Hi, and welcome!

What exactly have you modified in your sources.list file? One easy way to fix this would be to remove it, and install it again following Microsoft's instructions:

Were you Upgrading Zorin OS 16 to Zorin OS 17? Did you use the Zorin Upgrader Tool?

Please be attentive to detail and apply some effort in describing everything that happened before the error.
A lot more details would be very helpful for this thread.

Hummmm sound like déjà vu to me as I had the same problem when using the installer ..... looks like this needs to be fixed as I'm going to pass on the Zorin Lite 17 Pro when it comes out if I have to go through all that mess again .....
