I installed Only Office I want to make put it on the Main "Start Menu". I figured out how to customize the "Start Menu" (for lack of a better term). But I'm having trouble locating the actual Only Office program via the flle browser or terminal. Anyone know where I can find it? I tried right clicking on the icon and getting properties, but in Zorin it doesn't seem to tell me where the file is stored (unlike Mint, which does). Any help is appreciated. Removing Libre office as the icons are too small to actually read (even when the icon size is Extra Large).
The general launch command is desktopeditors.
If you use MenuLibre or Alacarte (In Zorin OS, clicking the app menu and selecting "Main Menu" should launch Menulibre), it should have have a categories section on the left - where you can navigate to Office, and in the right pane, OnlyOffice should be listed as an option that you can click the CheckMark to enable it being shown in The Office Category of the App Menu.
If you are absolutely not seeing it - did you install it as a Flatpak?
According to Zorin's built in software center, yes it is a flatpak (it reads "flathub" in the software center, and when I click the down arrow, it reads "flatpak").
Did you try to logout and login again? Sometimes that helps to make apps appear in start menu.
To be clear it is properly installed and I can run it if I search for it in the "start menu" When I customize the "Start Menu" it does not show up as one of the clickable options. I was going to add it manually by browsing to it. Thus the question.
Is it nowhere at office or others or accessoires?
Never mind. Apparently, I'm blind as a bat. It's there and it's "checkmarkable" I didn't see it the first time. I was able to check it and uncheck the LibreOffice Icons. Sorry to bug you and thanks for your help (your help made me look at it again and realize I didn't see it the first time LOL).

For anyone interested you can download and install a non-flatpak version of OnlyOffice using terminal commands provided on the OnlyOffice website. I had to do this for a client who had been used to Office365. Their only contention is they cannot have separate icons for the Word Processor and Spreadsheet applications.

I can't seem to get a realtime grammar checker for openoffice though. Anyone know where I can get one?

Interesting read .... Why does OnlyOffice use AI to check spelling mistakes ???? .... not wishing to get involved with AI I tried installing LanguageTool Plugin only to discover it to uses AI ... not sure if there is a free version but the other one says it is a trial version of the program ....
Is this the wave of the future everything going AI ..... if OnlyOffice uses AI for spelling corrections I will be going back to FreeOffice ...

Exactly. This computer came with Win11. I formatted the drive and put Linux on it. To get away from AI.
Anyway I got Libre Office working with larger toolbar icons. Had to edit several .desktop files for each application but it now works.

Just a side note here on epub export.
I was working on modifying a book for a low-vision student recently and thought I would try out SoftMaker Office 2026/NX Beta's TextMaker.
Exporting the .docx file to .epub was catastrophic. All the books images were splattered on the first few pages and the text was black on dark grey, totally unreadable.
LibreOffice Writer did it perfectly, white text on black background and images where they were supposed to be.
I posted this issue on thr Beta Forum and another user mentioned the fact SoftMaker was still behind the times in .epub base.
I seem to remember similar issues with SoftMaker Office 2021. I used Calibre which is extremely flexible allowing you to even choose what e-reader device it is to be made for (the school used Kindles). The Beta forum member also using the GNU/Linux version also mentioned an app called Sigil for epub creation.

In this story, it is necessary to distinguish between spelling correction of grammatical correction.
The first is a comparison with the dictionary, as FreeOffice does. And the second requires more resources and sometimes an external program, such as: www.writingtool.org
And OnlyOffice, by default, uses the same correction method as FreeOffice.
Word of advice - if you use OnlyOffice again in the future, install it with the .DEB installer they provide.
