I need to install a newer kernel version for Zorin OS 17.3

I need to install a newer kernel version than 6.8.0, but when I try upgrading to a newer version with mainline, it says that libc6 is in version 2.35 and I need a version like 2.38 which isn't available. So I'm stuck in this kernel and can't use my RX 9070 XT acceleration.

Mainline tool is always recommend in this forum, but I didn't it get to work on my machine with the same error when I tried to install later kernels.
What worked for me was tuxinvader kernel 6.12 (replace 6.11 in the command of the guide with 6.12), liquorix I haven't tried yet which will offer kernel 6.16.

If you need a newer kernel you can consider to install Zorin 18 beta or wait until Tuesday, 14th october, then Zorin 18 with kernel 6.14 will be released.

I think I'll just wait, but anyway I gave a try to tuxinvader, after adding sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tuxinvader/jammy-mainline now I get

Err:14 https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/tuxinvader/lts-mainline/ubuntu jammy Release
404  Not Found [IP: 2620:2d:4000:1::81 443]

and

E: The repository “https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/tuxinvader/lts-mainline/ubuntu jammy Release” does not have a Release file.`
N: It is not safe to update from a repository like this, and therefore it is disabled by default.
N: See the apt-secure(8) manual page for details on creating repositories and configuring users.

Do you have secure boot disabled? It should be disabled when you want to use the tuxinvader kernel.

Oh, no, I have it enabled

Then disable it please and try it again.
